In İDDMİB, we made over 1400 bilateral meetings in 2020 with participation of 151 Turkish and 450 foreign companies in 15 countries.

Digital platforms, virtual fairs and conferences now guide trade. At İDDMİB we made over 1400 bilateral meetings in 2020 with participation of 151 Turkish and 450 foreign companies in 15 countries.

Our Virtual Committees were highly demanded by our member companies. Our companies contacted local companies, learned about markets gathered information. We believe that these committees we organized to continue virtual trade with the support from the government, where physical trade cannot be done pleased our members. While it is impossible to find suitable schedule to physically visit 5 countries in 1 week, virtual committees enabled meeting with purchasers from 5 countries in 5 days. In line with the feedback from our members we learned that these virtual activities have turned into tangible commercial relations. This has shown us that it is possible to make sales and increase customer portfolio apart from physical and traditional marketing methods.
