About the Building Materials Industry
The Construction Materials sector has an important place in the economic structure due to its workforce contribution and being directly related to the production of hundreds of goods and services. The construction sector, which has a great experience and potential in the national and international arena, is one of the leading and driving sectors of the economy, known for its ability to activate more than 200 sub-sectors connected to it.
The Building Materials sector, which can compete in the world with its strong brands and quality service understanding, is also a sector of strategic importance for our country. The Turkish Construction Materials Industry, which does not have a current account deficit, ranks 11th in the world construction materials export ranking in 2019 with 15 product groups.
The goal of Turkish Construction Materials is to be in the top 10 again in the World Construction Materials Sector export ranking.
